Dental visits can be challenging for many children, but even more so for those with special health care needs. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Haman, Dr. Lammeier and Dr. Cuellar have received additional training in providing dental care to children and adults with special needs. They feel very comfortable seeing patients with all types of medical, physical, and behavioral concerns.

At the first appointment, it will be very important for our doctors to get to know your child and his or her specific needs. She will review the patient’s medical and dental history with you and discuss any specific concerns you may have. Some children with special needs function very well in the traditional office setting. If this is the case with your child, the first appointment may include x-rays, a cleaning, a fluoride treatment, and an exam. For those children who are unable to be seen in the office for dental treatment, we will discuss other options for your child's care.
